There's still a significant stigma surrounding mental health, particularly when it comes to diagnoses like Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). Joy will share her experiences, highlighting the impact of her challenges with BPD and PTSD on her relationships. This discussion emphasizes that dealing with mental health issues can be tough, but it doesn't have to be a relationship deal-breaker.

Presenter Bio

Joy Perez, of House of CHAOS, is a proudly covered Leather bratty Switch. Passionate about uplifting those around her, she dedicates herself to building a supportive, inclusive community. As the board president of the Central Texas Pride Community Center, Joy is a relentless advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community, working to ensure visibility, rights, and equality for all. Her leadership extends to her roles on the boards of CTX Darkside and UnSinXored, where she champions diversity, education, and inclusion at every turn.
