While some steps toward progress have been made in pockets of the community, few move beyond a blanket invitation to everyone with the claim to be “safe”. Being an Ally, Advocate, or Warrior is MUCH more than being intolerant of ~isms and ~phobias or inviting new speakers with a diverse identity to teach or posting a “We/I Stand with the X Community” letter in the face of atrocities.

The Kink & Leather Community Individuals, Organizers, and Groups each hold power to enact change and must move beyond the bare minimum. In this session, attendees will explore the many practical ways to engage, support, as well as empower Marginalized Groups and to implement meaningful Ally~Advocate~Warrior tactics that create a more inclusive Kink & Leather Community across key elements such as organization/identity, business, leadership, communications, culture, and data. Session 2 in the Ally~Advocate~Warrior Series.

There seems to be a noticeable thing in our SM play since Covid. It's escalated and has been leaving some of our relationships, or, if we're simply play mates, 'relating-ships' behind. Our hunger for our kink may have starved us out of the joy of connection.
Taking that moment to connect.
We are at our core, needing to feel connection. Healthy, balanced humans need touch.
The first touch, the lingering touch, before, the touch in the middle, the touch after.
How we touch those dear to us as opposed to those we don't know.
We share energy when we connect and touch. How much do you want to share?
Let's really look at the power of touch, energy and connection.
We do this with the chemicals we create in these miracle bags of humanity, our bodies.
The more we connect, the more energy rises and the more it's almost like flowing electricity in the air. Miz Tee has had numerous people who has said they could feel it or see is when she presents or plays. She feels that she gives back what she receives from you, when you participate. It's the combined energy, the connection that makes magic. It's a little less woo that it looks but not a lot because there's still a lot of invisible stuff and not everyone can feel it and if we are out of touch or out of tune with our minds and bodies we're out of this loop too and then it certainly looks all woo.
